A Little Fun Outside

video
Posted by Picasa

We've been skipping school a little bit (mostly because we've had colds). Still, we decided that we wouldn't let a few sneezes and sniffles hold us back and we ventured outside across the frozen playground to partake in some good old fashioned slipping (me) and sliding (them).

There was a lot of this going on too:

Yup. They still have volcano fever.

My youngest couldn't figure out how to maneuver

so she just gave up.

:)
**Edit - I fixed the video at the top (I hope, InshaALLAH).

Asalaamu Alaikum

Looks like fun but you need more snow!

Are you going to RIS?

Wa 'alaikum as salaam,

No thanks, Sis, you can keep all of that extra snow, lol.

Nope, I think it's insane that they charge so much for children so I haven't attended RIS in years.

Take care,
wa salaam,
Nakia

Wow where in the GTA are you sister, because we had no snow! :( We really want some.

And that is so cute how your kid is lying there in defeat. Sweet!

As salaam alaikum,

The fresh air is essential for well being, insha Allah.

Salaam Sis! It looks like all of the snow has melted :(

The pics are from last week but the sledding is from Sunday. It looks like it all turned to slush after that.

I think she was on the verge of getting a cold at the time too, poor little baby.

Wa 'alaikum as salaam Umm Tafari.

You're right, the air was cold but very refreshing, MashaALLAH.

Oh sweet! Winter here in Isloo is just rain and a whole lot of shivers LOL! Your kids' winterwear are so adorable ma shaa Allah!

Been enjoying your posts - really love hearing about other home-edders... makes me feel like I am not so different :)

Wa alaikum as salaam,

no, you're not so different :)

Most of the snow has gone but there is still a thin blanket on the ground.
