I Was Wondering

Do you incorporate any type of organized physical fitness into your homeschool days?

I signed them up for Tae Kwon Do and gymnastics.

The program DD is in uses President's Challenge (it might be a US program) to track their physical activity. We typically don't have things set each day, but I do sign her up for community classes in some type of sport. For instance, she's taking fencing right now.

Organization is one of my flaws, so I can't say it is organized, but I find weekly open skate times at a local ice skating rink or something to fill some physical fitness requirements.

All very good ideas! I haven't signed them up for any physical activities yet but I'm definitely thinking about it.

I have a friend who is a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and she loves it. There are plenty of martial arts studios around here.

I remember the President's Challenge from when I was in school. We used to have the awards assembly in the cafeteria, lol.

So far, we haven't done anything organized but they like to join me when I'm exercising.
